Stating that the British education policy aimed to establish “psychological slavery” in India to sustain the colonial rule, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat Friday said that on the recommendations of Lord Macaulay in 1835, the British “destroyed the Gurukul education system” of India which was “deeply rooted in traditions to carve human beings”.

In the wee hours of Monday, February 6, unknown miscreants broke into a Hanuman temple in Narapat Pur village, Chairaigaon Block, Varanasi district, Uttar Pradesh, and vandalised the Lord Hanuman idol. A Shivling, Trishul, and a Nandi idol were also found to be uprooted and desecrated. The donation box was also broken and looted.
“Unidentified people carried out the attacks under the cover of darkness, vandalising idols in 14 temples in three unions (lowest local government tier),” said Bidyanath Barman, a Hindu community leader at Baliadangi) “upazila” or “sub-district” in Thakurgaon.
A spate of attacks on Hindu temples in the US state of Texas and Australia’s Melbourne has triggered concerns among the Indian community living abroad, even as authorities probe for any possible hate crime. The first incident took place at Shri Omkarnath Temple in the Brazos Valley, Texas, on January 11, KBTX-TV reported on Friday.
According to reports, the temple was raided by burglars who stole some of the valuables from the premises, leaving the Indian community in a state of shock.

They want to create a class conflict of every possibility. Those inimical powers have been successful in doing it globally on many occasions in past.
That may be an exaggeration, but there’s no doubt there has been a huge increase in the number of churches all over Nepal in recent years. The latest data from the national Christian community survey says there are now 7,758 churches in the still overwhelmingly Hindu country.
Another investigation by the US-based Network Contagion Research Institute said that “malicious online narratives”, “ethnic hatred” and false reports by Muslims—child kidnapping and attacks on a local mosque—led to unprecedented violence. It also pointed out the role played by supporters of terror organisations Al Qaeda and ISIS in amplifying false information that led to unrest against the Hindus.
Most of these social media claims were found to be false by the local police.
