According to the information, a Muslim youth named Taufeeq Ahmed entered the temple with a ‘tilak’ on his forehead. Taufeeq had entered the temple by telling his name as Shiva.

After entering the temple, Taufeeq first raised slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and then pelted stones to break the idols.

He vandalized the idols of Shani Dev and Hanuman Ji. However, the mob caught him.
