In yet another attack on Hindus in Bangladesh, a Kali temple in Dautiya village in Bangladesh’s Jhenaidah district was attacked on Friday, October 7. The Kali idol was found smashed into pieces, with the head of the idol discovered around half a kilometer away from the temple premises
Did you know that since Aug.5, 2024, news of the unrelenting attacks on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh have been subverted by the mainstream media? Why is there no news coverage on the treacherous killings of Hindus, the desecration of Hindu Mandirs (Hindu temples), land grabbing, mob attacks after false blasphemy charges, rapes/forced conversions, and the hate speeches?

Ever since the Muslim invaders arrived in India, beginning with the Arabs who invaded in 711 A.D. and seized Sindh, they made savage war on Hindus and on Hinduism. They destroyed over 36,000 Hindu temples and temple complexes. They killed tens of millions of Hindus during the 250 years of Mughal rule. Indian historians, such as KS Lal, estimate that Muslims were responsible over the centuries for the deaths of 70-80 million Hindus. Other tens of millions of Hindus converted to Islam in order to stay alive, and their descendants are the Muslims that we find today not just in India, but in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
More recent reports suggest a surge in assaults specifically aimed at Hindus in Bangladesh. These attacks encompass acts of physical aggression, destruction of temples, and intimidation of Hindu persons. According to a 2023 report by the Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council, there has been a significant increase in instances of violence targeting Hindus, with more than 50 significant assaults documented in the previous year alone (Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council, 2023). Frequent outbreaks of violence occur during religious holidays or periods of political turmoil, underscoring a concerning pattern of deliberate hostility.
